Who gets what: share out a home's things, each person answers privately by a link

AllKeep Inventory can now share out the things of a home among family or flatmates. Each person marks what they would love or like by their own link, and one plain rule decides the rest.

When a parent moves into care or dies, brothers and sisters have to decide who takes what. The same happens when a couple or flatmates leave a flat. The fights usually start over small things, like a watch or a box of photos, and over who asked first. Now AllKeep Inventory can share the things out by asking each person privately.

Pick the things and the people

Open Home › Who gets what › New share-out. Tick whole rooms or single things from your inventory. Their photo, place and value come along. You can add things that are not in the inventory, like a clock on the wall. Write the people's names and, if you want, a note and a day to answer by.

Making a share-out: people's names, rooms ticked, a thing written in

Everyone answers on their own

Each person gets their own link and opens it without an account. For every thing they choose "I'd love it", "I'd like it" or "Not for me", and they can say why. Nobody sees the others' answers.

One person's page on a phone: the rule, then each thing with three choices and a reason

One rule, printed on every page

A thing only one person asked for is theirs. If one person loves it and the others only like it, it goes to the one who loves it. Everything else goes by turns, and whoever has fewer things so far chooses next. You see the result as the answers come in, with who asked for what and why. You can move any thing to someone else.

In the app: who asked for each thing, their reasons, and where it goes by the rule

When you close it, every link shows who gets what.
