Two days ago I added a paid leave book to Japan Life Hub. It shows the days of paid leave (年次有給休暇, yukyu) you hold and the day each grant lapses. But a date on a page only helps if you open the page in time. Days lapse two years after their grant, and your employer does not have to pay for them.
So the book can now write to you.

Keep the book, get the e-mails
Sign in, enter the day you started work, and press "Keep this book and e-mail me". The book is kept in your account and opens on your other devices. You get an e-mail:
- 30 and 7 days before days of a grant lapse, while some of them are still unused;
- 60 and 30 days before the last day for the five days your employer must give you, until you have them;
- 30 and 7 days before your last day of work, while you still hold days;
- on the day new days are granted.
The card shows when the next e-mail is due, and a button sends you a sample at once, so you can see what will arrive.

Without an account
The book still works without one. Then it stays in your browser, and nothing reminds you. "Remove it from my account" deletes the kept book and stops the e-mails, and every e-mail has a link that stops them. The e-mails come in the language of the page you last saved the book from: English, Japanese, Russian, Hindi, Chinese, Indonesian or Vietnamese.
